Winter Solstice Night Hike

Celebrate the longest night of the year in the heart of nature

Mark your calendar! The 2nd Annual Winter Solstice Hike is a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t want to miss. As the shortest day of the year gives way to the longest night, join us for a magical night hike through one of our favourite trails at Miners Marsh.

With the crisp winter air and the quiet hush of the landscape, we’ll guide you along the loop, stopping to take in the sights and sounds of the season. There’s something truly special about exploring the outdoors during the solstice, and this hike offers the perfect way to embrace the stillness of the winter night.

This is a rare, annual event, so make sure to join us to experience the wonder of the Winter Solstice in the Annapolis Valley. It’s a night to remember, and one that will leave you feeling refreshed and connected to the natural world.

What’s included:

  • A guided hike along the loop at Miners Marsh

  • A celebration of the Winter Solstice with scenic stops

  • A chance to learn about the region’s winter landscape

  • A group photo to capture the magic of the night

This event only happens once a year! Must be 18+.
